In an earlier WorldCon Jeff Fennel described a game he was starting, Strike Racers, as anti-gravity motorcycles racing in the desert. I was inspired to build four such vehicles, changing his concept into enclosed, larger vehicles so that they could be spaceships, too. This was my first. I even put a seat in it, but covered it all with a canopy so that I wouldn't have to sculpt a driver. The main body is an packing tape dispenser with another tape dispenser cover for a canopy. Greeblies were limited to concentrations at the junctures of large parts, leaving lots of room for decals. Painting was with "The Army Painter" acrylics with shades and tints of cheap craftstore acrylics brushed-on. The rough areas are the result of the "salt method" of random masking because I liked how the final oil wash stuck there.
