This thing started as a B-25 fuselage turned upside-down and backwards with the engines glued to the sides and an old Genie garage door opener holster attached to the top. More parts were added, like tubes and football helmets, and a disposable lighter under the nose, to give the 'ship an overall design, leaving the "fill-in the holes" exercise to complete the look. Looking at the bottom you can see a heavy reliance on armor model kit parts in 1/72 and 1/35 scales. The tubular arms sticking out and down from the side turned-out to be attachements for wings. Engines are Standard No7's from Amazon. Looking at the top, details are not too thick and fussy, leaving lots of space for colored sections and decals.
Painting was fun! The base color is light green. Dark green was brushed-on to select areas, as was a medium blue that was nearly the same intensity as the light green. For contrast I painted the garage door opener and connected pieces a light tan, as if the ship were a face wearing a mask.
