Like Liner N211AS, this was a kitbashed cheap submarine, but this time I cut it in half and folded the aft section up over the bow. I used two plasticard sheets to form a "V" cross-section in back, itself flanked with the aft sides of a horrid Matchbox F-4 Phantom kit. The top are boxes detailed with car parts and 1/100 scale F-4 Phantom wings.
This was a case where I love how the ship went together, but I wish I'd dug the decals out early, planned where to put them, then detailed and painted the ship "around" them. As always, I try to imagine how this would have looked as part of the BSG Rag-tag Fleet. Wings would have probably been booms and cylinders, almost exactly like Steve's.
